Brianna Crowley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN in 2012 and her Masterโs degree in 2017 in the field of Plant Pathology from North Carolina State University. She has worked with fungal pathogens for the last fifteen years and with perennial crops for the last twelve, conducting molecular and applied research in university and extension programs. Most recently, she served as the Texas A&M AgriLife Viticulture Program Specialist for the Hill Country region, conducting research, solving issues in vineyards from site assessment through crop production and everything in between, and educating Texas grape growers on best management practices for our specific growing climate. She plans to continue these practices in her new position with Apical Texas, albeit in a more hands-on capacity to help the Texas wine industry reach ideal standards.
